We recognise the unique preferences and needs of each resident and are committed to ensuring residents continue to enjoy their hobbies and interests. Whether it is a practical activity through crafts or baking, enjoying friendly card games, or prefers a relaxed time watching visiting entertainers, we ensure that everyone can follow their preferred interests.

Our Bedrooms

At Kestrel Grove, our tastefully designed bedrooms are equipped to offer residents continuous support and the highest standards of person-centred care. Our rooms provide a blend of modern amenities and cosy comforts, catering to the diverse needs of our residents.

Each bedroom at Kestrel Grove is fully furnished and equipped, featuring profiling beds, a nurse call system, and temperature-controlled heating systems. We also encourage residents to personalise their rooms according to their preferences and are welcome to use their own belongings creating a truly homely feel.

Fine Dining

The dining rooms at Kestrel Grove are both spacious and welcoming, providing residents with the opportunity to enjoy their meals in the company of fellow residents. Our dedicated in-house chefs produce daily menus that are both nutritious and delicious and cater to each resident’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. For those who prefer dining in the privacy of their rooms, we happily accommodate this choice.

In February 2024, we were awarded with a 5* Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency.

Extensive Activities Programme

At Kestrel Grove, our dedicated team of in-house activities coordinators collate a weekly schedule of comprehensive activities designed for all residents to enjoy. Our team always consider resident preferences, engaging in ongoing communication to provide them with the best care possible. In-house activities range from arts & crafts, board games, gentle exercise sessions, visiting entertainment and a quiz night to social outings, such as visits to local cafés or the community hall.

We actively encourage each resident to pursue their interests and hobbies at their own pace. We make sure that we organise activities that cater to every resident, accommodating their care needs without any limitations.

Secure Gardens

We have a huge garden space at Kestrel Grove, home to lots of lovely flowers and a pond. Residents have the opportunity to take a walk and take in the fresh air or mingle with loved ones. Also, when the weather allows, residents are welcome to enjoy their daily meals whilst watching nature.

For our green-fingered residents, we hold regular gardening sessions where they can plant their favourite seeds and watch them flourish throughout the year.
